Productive materials inventory cost reduction from 42 days to 15 days about 64%, Purchasing new process development as commodity strategy and strategic sourcing, Performance indicators development for Delivery rate, Quality and commercial, defining supplier’s commodity strategy core process sorting the suppliers by preferential, potential, no quote list and critical. Logistics BID cost reduction of 24%.• Shutdown reason: I moved from Ford/Visteon to Nazca because a great career opportunity to professionalize this Brazilian Familiar company, but unfortunately the family gave up this project and fired the CEO, so I decided left the company and looking for a new opportunity and challenge.

Responsible for Productive Purchasing, Supplier’s Quality, Cost estimating, Program Supply and Materials Planning for Interiors, Climate, Powertrain, Chassis and Electronics Business Unit responsible, purchasing about USD 280 Mils year for 5 plants. I had 27 employees as direct report and 9 as matrix report (2 in China, 1 in India, 2 in Argentina and 1 in Europe). Matrix report to South American Operations Director in Brazil and directed report to the Global Purchasing Director in China plus to the Corporate Global Purchasing Director in US. Results and Main Achievements: Cost Reduction Actions by negotiation, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Local Sourcing, TVM-Total Value Management, TQCM- Total Quality and Cost Management, Re-sourcing, Engineering Changes and VAVE – Value Added-Value Engineering. We surpassed all objectives with savings about USD 23.8 Mils year average.
