From an early age I was very interested in art, but it was in the digital and technological world that I found my true passion. In 2003 I graduated from the Escola Profissional de Comércio Externo with a degree in communication, marketing and public relations. During the academic period - 2001 to 2003 - I did several internships with different organisations, including Casa do Infante - a museum where I collaborated on various events - and the Fundação Dr António Cupertino de Miranda - a foundation whose objectives are in the cultural, social and educational fields.I've had a degree in Digital Arts and Multimedia since 2009 from the Escola Superior de Artes e Design, in Matosinhos. Since completing my degree I have developed various projects in different areas, such as graphic and editorial design, web design, motion graphics, video and multimedia.During my professional career, I had the privilege of working for five years at the Fundação Escultor José Rodrigues as a graphic designer and IT technician.Over the course of my fourteen years of experience, I've also collaborated with a number of designers and IT specialists, including: Convento de São Paio, Decathlon, Ana Bacalhau, Universidade Católica do Porto, among others. This gave me the opportunity to work as a freelancer and this independent period allowed me to create a project, which I call BALBÚRDIA, a design project and studio.I currently live in Porto and am looking for professional team adventures anywhere in the city or the world. I believe that getting out of your comfort zone and taking on challenges is what makes life exciting, so that's how I often describe my work.One of my greatest pleasures is travelling, as long as it's to see the world, find inspiration and get to know cultures, no matter if it's for leisure or work. Travelling and everyday life can never be without two things: a watch and a book. This latter passion gave me the opportunity to collaborate with the Porto Book Fair for two years. Reading is like travelling without leaving your seat.
