My professional experience is built upon more than two decades of engineering duties, at my former employers' engineering teams.After having had two exciting years in the Medical and Health monitoring equipments industry, now I'm ready for new challenges in the retail, POS cash-register market.To date, my duties cover the product development and design engineering tasks aimed at the customer's needs. Over the years, I’ve teamed to develop products in the following fields: telephony, pair-gain, ISDN, DSL data transmission, PABX, cash registers/POS and industrial controls, Automated External Defibrillators, Vital signs Monitoring devices.My microcontroller architecture knowledge includes 80C31, H8, ST6, Atmel and PIC. Recently, I've developed hardware based on MSP430 and STM STM32 ARM family. My career started with the design and industrialization of several products in the telecommunications field. Later on, due to the wired telecommunications market decline, the company where I first worked, specialized in sub-contracting of electronic boards production for the power transmission/distribution, transportation, cash-register/POS, wellness industries. Furthermore, I've gained experience on GSM/GPRS M2M communication, brush motor control and RF hand-held key-fob devices, power supplies. As a matter of fact, I gained a multidisciplinary experience.Specialties: Huge knowledge of components, technologies and components, both PTH and SMT.I've attended several lectures on EMI/EMC/ESD issues at the ISELQUI institute.CAE/CAD Zuken (formerly THEDA), OrCAD, Eagle (Autodesk) KiCAD knowledge and Altium apprentice.End-user of engineering functions on SAP r.3 information system.
