Responsibilities:• Recruit, induct and follow probationary process for new staff and undertake exitinterviews when staff leave.• Allocate tasks and work schedules to staff on your contract and update works schedulesas and when necessary.• To monitor and be responsible for the work of Team Leaders and all CleaningOperatives on your Contract.• Complete quality audits with the client• Ensure the use of only authorised and correctly labelled chemicals –knowing that onlychemicals are used where we have the relevant COSHH information.• Complete health and safety - SHEQs audits every 6 months• To take responsibility for the safety and well-being of yourself, the employees in yourcare and anyone who might be affected by your duties.• Undertake: 1-2-1’s, supervision giving feedback, identifying training needs, providingdevelopment and training opportunities, liaising with Head Office about any trainingunable to deliver personally.• To ensure that those employees who you are responsible for, use the equipment andmaterials as they have been trained to.• Book annual pat test for all electrical equipment - PAT• To ensure you understand the health and safety training you have been given and toseek advice and verification of any points of which you are unclear.• Train staff in their tasks and health and safety responsibilities.• Hold staff/team briefings as required by your Line Manager and produce notes of thosemeetings.• Manage attendance, disciplinary and grievance matters effectively in liaison with yourLine Manager the HR Department.• To maintain, and ensure that those employees who you are responsible for, maintain asmart and professional appearance at all times• To consult with the Key account manager and the HR Department about any staffingissues.• Time Keeping – At the start of the shift ensure that all of the operatives are on-site,changed and ready to start the cleaning shift at the correct time. ….And More…..
