Think out of the box, resiliency, agility, flexibility… how many times have you heard these words? These might sound like slogans just because they were repeated to the point of exhaustion without putting concrete actions in place to achieve them. These actions are hard to implement, since they require effort and determination and you will hardly see results in the short-term. I made these principles my North Star.I step out the comfort zone and face new challenges, focusing on the long-term objects. This mindset made me open to innovation and to look to the future as an opportunity.Change is no longer a choice. The decision is not between embracing the change or not. Now the choice is between driving change or being overwhelmed by change. To bring this cultural change in the organization, I am fully committed to spread the lean philosophy across the teams I am working with.I encourage Agile transformation, especially in the areas where people used to work in the old-fashioned way. After an early stage of resistance to change (“we have always done this way”) you make commitment and when the team is engaged, the results obtained are amazing.I work with multidisciplinary teams of professionals with different skills, backgrounds, working tasks, contracts… which make different products. Therefore, I have learned that principles are all that matters, then each group has to implement the principles to suit their needs and independently decide on the instruments (kanban, backlog…) and rituals (stand up, Scrum ceremonies…) more functional to their work.Working in TV allowed me to quickly develop some important soft skills like time management and working under pressure. Think about a product that will be due to on air on a scheduled day and time: you cannot miss the delivery or delay it. Managing the unexpected is another fundamental quality because if you are working with a lot of stakeholders, teams, facilities and customers, it is very likely that something goes different from what you planned. I also learned how to prioritize work when everything seems important. I take great care about work-life balance, to achieve the right equilibrium especially at times of remote or hybrid working.I like working on different projects and all those activities that make me grow personally and professionally, in order to achieve my maximum potential and influence people around me with my enthusiasm.If you would like to talk to me about these topics, do not hesitate to contact me!
