My Name is Antonio Grillo. I am currently an Audio Technician at Newsmax TV. I have worked there for the past four years and I have gained a lot of knowledge in the field of TV audio mixing and engineering. I have experience working in a high-pressure news environment while working on various primetime programs and special news coverage. My experience in coordinating with production managers, various show teams, and engineers has provided me with the neccessary skills to be a team player in this industry. I have gained the respect of my colleagues as a team leader and a mentor to other audio techs in the company. I am a graduate of Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Political Science, class of 2018. I am passionate about Media, especially Sports Media. I was a member of the Marconi Award-Winning college and non-commercial radio station, 88.7 WRHU-FM Radio Hofstra University. I have been involved with both the Sports and News departments at WRHU. I have worked in both the on-air, and technical fields of Sports and News broadcasting. I have created, and became a producer of a Major League Baseball Talk Show, "The Batter's Box" which debuted in April 2016. I have reported, produced, and engineered radio broadcasts for the New York Islanders NHL Franchise on WRHU, the only college station to be the flagship radio station for a professional sports organization. I am a host, and former producer of WRHU's morning drive program, Hofstra's Morning Wake Up Call. I have also been a sports update anchor, a traffic and weather anchor, and a feature reporter for various programs on WRHU. Aside from this experience, I have a hard work ethic, I behave professionally and I am a team player.
