NubeBar is a mobile app that helps bars and restaurants manage their alcohol inventory in order to avoid theft and boost revenue. For many bars and restaurants alcohol sales represent 40% or more of total sales. Alcohol also has the highest margins and is the most valuable inventory. Despite this, most businesses manage their alcohol inventory using manual, time-consuming methods that make inventory control a big challenge. NubeBar solves this problem. As a solo founder I have taken care of virtually everything, including customer development, UI design, backend engineering and sales. Highlights: - Validated the product by working part-time as an auditor in a restaurant with high volume alcohol sales. - Currently working with the first batch of customers who purchased the product as part of the public beta.

Enlace Fiscal sells digital invoicing software to small businesses in Mexico. Enlace Fiscal was founded in 2007, becoming one of the first SaaS companies in Mexico (software as a service). I co-founded the company and was in charge of sales, marketing and customer success while simultaneously collaborating on product design with the engineering team.Highlights:- Went from 0 to hundreds of customers in 3 years, before digital invoices became mandatory.- Although it was created as an internal tool, Enlace Fiscal eventually became the main business.

Accend was a web development shop focused on helping medium-sized businesses harness the power of the internet. I did everything from website design and copywriting to sales.Highlights:- Helped a kitchen design company go from idea to industry leader by persuading their top executives to invest 100% of their marketing budget online, including website development, proprietary ecommerce tools and search engine marketing.- Created a joint venture with El Informador, Jalisco’s most important newspaper to design, build and operate Informador.com.mx, the media company’s new website.- Launched Enlace Fiscal, an internal tool which became one of Mexico’s first SaaS apps.

Helados Le Cascarie makes and sells premium ice cream in the central and northern states of Mexico, selling primarily to restaurants and hotels. I partnered with the company's founder and CEO to sell its products in Monterrey. My job as Regional Manager consisted on setting up operations in Monterrey, overseeing everything from warehouse selection and conditioning, logistics, recruitment, sales and account management. Highlights:- Redesigned the company’s marketing and sales assets and materials- Designed a custom delivery truck configuration which allowed swift delivery in busy city areas as well as maximum cargo capacity for long resupply trips between Guadalajara and Monterrey- Management of more than 50 client accounts.- Monterrey became the company’s second most important market in the first year of operations.
