Supervision of operations, giving feedback to the Rig Manager at all times; Manage rig safety performance, operational performance and client relationships; Evaluating the rig performance focusing for the rig generating higher levels of revenue; Manage the rig in accordance with the Company’s health, safety, quality, commercial and environmental objectives; Controlling the Rig's budget; Interacts with client’s representative and ensure its objectives are accomplished in conjunction with policies and procedures; Carrying out daily operational meetings with the rig supervisors in order to attend customers drilling program requirements, manage priorities to maximize rig efficiency, within the rig’s capabilities; Controlling and approving the purchasing of spare parts, consumables and new equipment for the rig; Follow out and treat non-conformities according the client and governmental requirements; Preparing the rig to be audited according Brazilian, Petrobras and International legislation (class, navy, RASMA, ANP, IBAMA, etc.); Evaluate and negotiate the terms and conditions of 3rd part's service contract according pricing, quality and scope of works; Participate in customer-related events (well planning and execution, regular calls, performance reviews, etc.) as deemed necessary. Conduct regular rig visits to assess competency of rig personnel, effectiveness of maintenance practices, physical condition of the rig and equipment; Conduct detailed review of plans for critical in-service maintenance projects; Review additional resource requirements for overdue critical maintenance and major maintenance, break down and corrective works; Follow up the major repair and ensure quality
