CASAP is a public consortia constituted by Catalan Health Institute (ICS) and Castelldefels council. It's placed in Castelldefels, 20km south of Barcelona. Our aim is to provide a highly resolutive and top quality primary care health services. The Consortium runs Can Bou Primary Care Team (PCT) caring for 35.000 people and Primary Care Emergency Unit (CUAP) Castelldefels, covering and area of 200000. Currently there're more than 100 professionals working at CASAPWe've been working not only on clinical side but on the organisational, leading the project and looking for team cohesion through different strategies but mainly professional acknowledgement and pay for performance strategies. CASAP has been leader in Spain in nurses' autonomous resolution in acute health situations, having edited guidelines currently followed by other health organisations. CASAP has been selected as a case study for new health care organizations by KPMG and Manchester Bussiness School.CASAP project has received awards from ESADE Bussiness School and CSSC (Catalan Social and Health Consortia), CAMIFC (Catalan Famiily and Community Medicine Society) and ACCMMCB (Catalan Medical Science Association) and Spanish Ministry of Health for the whole project. CASAP Care Team hosts regularly visitors from other countries, mainly through EFPC, and also WHO, Milano Management School, Tilburg University, Chile Health Ministry, Coincide and Global Health Leadership Forum (organised by Berkeley Public health School and Pompeu Fabra Economics School).We have organised Primary Care Experience Workshop, to host different training needs for international groups on health management.CASAP has hosted the Pre-conference field visit and co-organized 2014 EFPC meeting and again in 2023. I worked as consultant for a training program on emergency units managers in Kirgizstan

I performed different works, both on the clinical and managerial sides. I mainly worked as medical primary care director for 9 years in a rural area,(Anoia Primary Care Direction) being responsible for developing primary care, improving resolution, training, drug prescription and quality management. I also was direct responsible for the first Primary Care Travellers Health Unit From 2002 to 2005 I was director for Sant Martí Primary Care Team in Barcelona, being responsible for more than 100 professionals.
