The role of an electricity market operator consists of forecasting electricity generation and demand, to effectively trade energy in the newly formed Cypriot competitive energy market. Daily duties include market forecasting and modelling, excellent knowledge of the Cypriot market Trading and Settlement rules, economic optimization of energy trading, software engineering for SCADA and MDMS communication technologies and more.Energy and Beyond LTD is an electricity supplier company, member of the Green Energy Group, aiming at providing green energy from renewable sources directly to the consumers of the Cypriot National Grid.

Guided engineering applicants of the University of Huddersfield to the right direction. Provided information relevant to the courses of Electrical & Electronic engineering as well as student life. Delivered short presentations to audiences ranging from potential students, to university executive board members.

Aided with all projects of the company, ranging from repairing electrical faults in industrial machinery, designing and installing electrical panels and implementing residential electrical plans. During this employment I was able to develop all basic and some intermediate skills associated with installing repairing and maintaining all types of electrical equipment as well as industrial and household appliances.

Two years of service in the special forces’ division of the National Guard of Cyprus. Had the chance to develop physical and mental strength as well as valuable skills for any work environment. Discipline, persistence and good communication with colleagues were mandatory during my time of service.
