Antonis has a demonstrated experience as a digital transformation management. Being involved with internet and ICT technologies since early 2000, in leading companies such as Forthent, Enartia and Team.Blue, he has a very good understanding of the potentials, trends and strong opportunities of an ongoing digital transformation culture. These last years, his also has a hands-on involvement with Hotel and tourism industry as digital transformation co-ordinator for hotels in Hersonissos, Rethymno and Mykonos.Result-driven, focused on business analysis with engineering and strong ICT / innovation / managerial background. He holds an MBA degree [2016] and an MPhil degree by the Systems Engineering Department, at BRUNEL University (UK) [2006]. He has also graduated with honors from the Electrical Engineering Department of the Mediterranean University of Crete (Greece) [2002], awarded with three scholarships from the Greek National Scholarships Foundation.He is currently [2024] co-founder of Brandery, a digital transformation company focused in hotel industry and owner of GRELIA premium Cretan products. For 6 years [2016-2022] he had the position of the Chief Operations Officer at Enartia Group (Papaki & Top.Host) with remarkable operational achievements in financial results. For 16 years [2000-2016] he has worked in applied research as a programmer [2000-2003], web services designer [2004-2008], project manager [2009-2013] and deputy R&D manager [2013-2015] at Forthnet S.A. Innovation Department. During his activities at the research and development department he has participated in the implementation of many European and national IT projects focusing on mobile internet applications, IoT, IoE, alert & notification messaging systems, location based services, real time services, m-Learning platforms and support living services. From September 2004 to June 2012 he was lecturing Computer Systems Architecture, Medical Informatics and Microprocessors at the Applied Informatics and Multimedia department of Technological Education Institute of Crete. Among other, he has also participated in many committees and workgroups covering a wide range of activities and knowledge sectors such as Healthcare, Wellbeing, Support Living, Media Content Delivery, e-inclusion and edutainment.
