Hi, I'm Anton James. I've been working in the IT Industry for over 18 years supporting both Microsoft, Apple & Linux environments, and a host of other technology. I started my career in customer services on the Help Desk and quickly moved through different teams to learn as much as I could so I could understand how all the different teams worked before becoming an IT Manager. I have a wealth of experience in different IT Technologies & disciplines which helped me design & protect my companies infrastructure, as well as make our clients environments better.Over the years I have completed many projects such as* Infrastructure costs reductions: Saving companies over $450K Annually* Supplier and software onboarding* migrated Infrastructure from 2 data centres in the UK, to 5 data centres Globally! Got to love the benefits of leveraging cloud infrastructure.* Moved away from legacy PBX phone systems and on premise Exchange systems to utilize cloud, VOIP & Office365.* Solution Architecting Disaster recovery and Backup solutions. Including Implementation and testing.* Managing IT Teams* making the workplace a more fun place to be!When I'm not at work and looking after/designing new infrastructure; I like to spend time with my friends and family and de-stress restoring classic vehicles; like my 1970 Ford Mustang & 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX, Going for walks & riding my Motorbike. I love exploring and traveling and wish to pass my passion on to my Children.I would also like to apologise in advance to people who message me on linkedin and don't hear from me in a long time.
