I lead a small, yet very efficient team of business development experts to:(1) monitor and respond to tenders (contract notices, B2G) and complex RFPs (B2C): procurement invitations, prequalification and contract notices. Work with executives and experts to choose the best commercial and technical approach and prepare the actual proposal ; identify and attract potential partners to prepare joint proposals;(2) grants - monitor and answer calls for proposals for grant-funded projects (Operational Programmes, Horizon 2020, Eurostars etc), ensuring the projects (which are mainly R&D related) match the corporate strategy. Prepare and manage the entire process - from conceptualization and bid writing to administrative support, supervision, technical and financial reporting during the project implementation (3) innovation management: leading intrapreneurship, R&D, development of new products, services and the technology pipeline (focus on RPA and AI);(4) other : awards management, sales, presentations, research&strategy. business planning. supporting other stakeholders : universities, clusters, NGOs etc.I was also the CEO of the company's media monitoring arm) where I provided support for the strategic development of this MMA agency in Bulgaria in terms of strategic market/product development, licensing and finance in monitoring; initiated the development of state-of-the-art dashboards and tools as well as the largest source list and coverage of traditional and social media content in Eastern Europe.

I conceptualized and established a department devoted to building a register of corporate and private data for business intelligence, compliance, research and monitoring purposes. A team of over 10 analysts was involved to build company profiles of entities and industry reports on important sectors in South Eastern Europe, which were published in the SeeNews platform and across global aggregators. A typical profile covered investments, marketing, financial data and fundamental ratios, description of activities, management, history, strategy and market position of the profiled entity. We also conducted numerous research projects for investment and marketing purposes of clients and authored hundreds of articles for leading business media in Bulgaria.

I established the Bulgarian Business Angels Network as the first and widely recognized organization of angel investors in Bulgaria. After attracting two more cofounders and an investor the organization was officially launched in 2008 and was active on the market until 2011.-It provided access to private investors, bridging the gap between innovative ideas and funding. The Network supported entrepreneurs and business owners and acted as a formal club of business angels in Bulgaria.The organization was very successful in terms of marketing and communication, attracting over 800 projects in just 2 years. However, it was too early on the market and since 2011 / 2 it is not in operation. A re-launch is pending.
