With the publication of the successful PEA and the raising of new funding, the Company brought in an experienced mining and environmental team to prepare the Pre-Feasibilty Study (PFS). With the final approval of the EIS, we could now drill over the whole project area. I prepared the PFS drilling program to upgrade resource classification and expand the high-grade resources that had not been drilled since 2008.The successful drilling program increased the in-pit measure and indicated contained copper by 175% and inferred contained copper by 180% compared to the 2008 resources—an overall increase in MI&I copper resources by 180% and molybdenum by 230%.The Tetra Tech 2023 PFS presented a project with an after-tax NPV (8%) of $ 2.8 billion and an IRR of 24% at $ 3.68/lb copper.

Having completed the PEA, The Company appointed me as CEO with all the responsibilities of the technical and legal aspects of running a TSX-listed company. We raised the funds for the 2015-2017 drilling after roadshows and fundraising and then prepared and maintained the budgets. I worked on social and community relations while preparing and processing two Environmental Impact Statements (EIS).We designed a drilling program to test the updated geological model and recruited a geological team to relog all drill cores. The successful drilling program confirmed the latest geological model, increasing the in-pit measure and indicated contained copper by 140% and inferred contained copper by 30% compared to the 2008 resources. I managed the Company team's preparation of the 2019 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). Working with Tetra Tech, I coordinated the preparation of the chapters, including metallurgical testing, geotechnical studies, mine plans, and financial evaluation. The PEA presented a project with an after-tax NPV (8%) of US$ 1.8 billion, an IRR of 21% and a 3.4-year payback period at $ 3.00/lb copper.

Responsible for the technical aspects related to the exploration and advancement of the Vizcachitas copper-molybdenum porphyry in the Central Andes, Chile. I compiled all historical data and created a new geological model for the updated resource estimate. Working with Coffey, we prepared the first Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), published in 2013. The resource estimate included all the drill holes not included in the 2008 resource estimate and increased the indicated and inferred contained copper by 30%. The PEA demonstrated an after-tax NPV of $274 million and an IRR of 9.5%.
