CurrentCurrently controlling the the ECR process for all IT change requests on-site. This involves designing fibre network infrastructure in-line with the project requirements, designing rack layout's and power requirements for racks in the Data Centre.The whole project design needs to be documented as a package with the use of MS Word, Excel, Visio and Adobe Acrobat, this will include Floor Plan's, Duct Route's, Rack Elevation's and Power/Heat requirements.All Patching requires documenting and new cabling has to be recorded on the cabling database. Once completed, the design package can be sent to the Site Coordinating Installation Design Authority for approval to proceed.Like every Project there will be change during the projects life and this is reflected in the As-fitted pack that will be prepared and sent for final sign off.
