Antony has spent over fifteen years in the consulting and direct insurance world, and has been qualified for over ten years. Antony is capable of assisting businesses in a range of capacities - both from purely Actuarial analysis and roles through to drawing on his senior experience in the UK to advise on all aspects of business performance. In the consulting and business roles his experience includes analysis on complex and long tailed products such as workers compensation, asbestos and latent diseases, motor bodily injury, public liability, professional risks and medical malpractice. Antony has worked on shorter tailed products such as motor damage, personal & commercial property and travel products. He has also worked on a range of other products such as death and disability benefit calculations, unit pricing, evaluating project effectiveness, corporate strategy and self-insurance. Antony was an expert in building robust models for complicated analyses.As the head of Household & Commercial Reserving at the UK's largest personal lines insurer DirectLine Group, Antony worked closely with senior management and stakeholders across the Home and Commercial divisions. His roles included reporting to the Audit Committee, sitting on Commercial's Pricing Committee, and on the Loss Ratio Committee's for both departments. Antony's team oversaw key components of the forecast, and worked closely with the pricing teams on their technical models. He signed off on key assumptions for DLG's capital model. Antony has presented at a number of conferences in the UK and Europe and participated in Institute taskforces in the UK and Australia. A key responsibility was presenting results of the PPO working party. Antony became one of the UK's subject matter experts on PPOs.
