In 2005, 2006 and 2007, managed successive regional revenue generation records, the highest concurrent annual amounts since ITV began trading air-time. Managed the third highest volume of revenue on record in 2011.Key responsibilities: -• Setting strategy and revenue targets for the region in order to maximise sales opportunities across the ITV sales portfolio.• Servicing over 20 advertising agencies and 100 clients within Wales and the West of England.• Planning, sales and negotiation of bespoke ITV sales portfolio deals, encompassing traditional airtime, sponsorship, on-line, interactive and text communication.• Regularly updating the Regional Sales Controller of office performances.• Full man-management of personnel including regular career development reviews, targets setting and recruitment.• Managing external production facilities to produce cost efficient end products.• Working in partnership with the broadcaster’s Managing Directors to maximise business opportunities.• Facilitating quality communication and relationships with regional broadcaster teams.• Creating proactive sales strategies in order to maximise regional revenue streams.• Compiling regular comprehensive broadcaster sales and board reports.• Originally starting and managing the Business Development Executive concept within the Wales region resulting in national roll-out.• Member of ITV Wales, ITV West and ITV Westcountry senior management boards.
