I am a pioneering Business Development Leader with over 25 years experience leading global Retail Marketing, Sales, Innovation and Customer Development efforts for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organizations. My comprehensive background in market research and analysis for multi-functional businesses enables me to provide transformation growth through strategic planning and implementation of tactical programs to achieve targeted company goals and objectives. In my current role as Customer Strategy and Capability Director for Tiger Brands, I am responsible for articulating the Customer Strategy both internally and externally with key stakeholders and I am the GM for BLNE including Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland I ensure overall delivery and quality of the business unit’s offerings to customers. I also evaluate and determine key investments in retail marketing spend, business infrastructure and talent. Prior to Tiger Brands, I was General Manager for Colgate Palmolive for South East Africa, where I had complete P&L responsibilities for four main Africa countries. Prior to General Manager I was Retail Marketing Director for Colgate Palmolive South Africa, where I accelerated growth by developing and implementing commercial strategies to reach company goals and objectives.I received a Graduate Degree in Marketing at Institute of Marketing Management South Africa. I also obtained certificates from University of Witwatersrand’s Management Advancement Program and Gordon Institute of Business Science Executive Development Program.
