As the Sales Director my objective was to launch and aggressively grow the prebooked sales function of the business, which predominantly consisted of weekly event sales across the 50+ venues.In addition to this short term sales cycle, I also drove a team of 23 in venue Sales Managers towards selling our venues as excellent event/function spaces. I directed the venues with effective sales planning, and captured these customers via telephone, email, digital and traditional business networking.After years of growth we adapted the sales function by launching an internal sales team which took total pre booked sales to a new level.
