Measure the spectral and physical characteristics of crops using a diverse array of remote sensors at leaf, canopy, and airborne levels. The primary goal is to enhance the understanding of photosynthesis and to scale its measurements from the leaf level to the canopy level via Solar Induced Fluorescence (SIF) scaling. Key accomplishments include cultivating crops, conducting detailed measurements and resolving a range of challenges from biological to programming issues, ultimately developing methodological pathways to derive the SIF leaf-canopy scaling factor. My motivation for this research is to bridge the knowledge-gap to enter the molecular scale photosynthesis, modeled with leaf-scaled data, derived from my methods. That because it can enable practical applications and financial estimates.

Manage trilingual accountability and administrative processes related to idea sourcing and funding. Track and optimize currency exchanges, ensuring accurate reporting to donors.

Use remote sensing and life-sciences knowledge and data for implementing REDD+ programs from the United Nations in cooperation with the World Bank and governments from the Pantropical region of the world. These projects operate with freely available data at planetary, continental, and national scales within the frameworks of Copernicus, EO4SD-forest, NICFI, and Sentinel-2.

Utilized machine learning algorithms to identify drivers of change and quantify elevational shifts in the treeline within the montane regions of Manu National Park from 1988 to 2020.

Produced and analyzed vegetation time-series data using drought indices from Sentinel-2 and hyperspectral imagery at ground and airplane scales. Employed machine learning to classify thematic categories. The research addressed the adaptation of Bavarian broadleaf forests to climate change by integrating multiple spatial scales of spectral data.

Generated processing chains for validation of Amazonian vegetation outputs with time-series of measured data. Contributed to data collection, processing and validation for Alpine hydrological models.
