Measure the spectral and physical characteristics of crops using a diverse array of remote sensors at leaf, canopy, and airborne levels. The primary goal is to enhance the understanding of photosynthesis and to scale its measurements from the leaf level to the canopy level via Solar Induced Fluorescence (SIF) scaling. Key accomplishments include cultivating crops, conducting detailed measurements and resolving a range of challenges from biological to programming issues, ultimately developing methodological pathways to derive the SIF leaf-canopy scaling factor. My motivation for this research is to bridge the knowledge-gap to enter the molecular scale photosynthesis, modeled with leaf-scaled data, derived from my methods. That because it can enable practical applications and financial estimates.

Organic Farming Plots At Earth University, Limón, Costa Rica

Led the planning and construction of the first insect farming infrastructure for organic waste processing and insect protein production at EARTH University.Designed the architectural plans in collaboration with the University's civil engineers.Coordinated with interdepartmental stakeholders, including the cafeteria, business, finance and organic farming departments, to secure and implement investments and assets for the project.The system utilizes soldier flies ("Hermetia illucens") to produce protein from organic waste. It serves as raw material for fish and chicken feed.
