- Taking inbound calls from customers who could be bidding on, or have already won a contract on a site that needs Asphalt supplying- Make outbound calls to new & existing customers to either win new work, or just to maintain and strengthen a strong relationship- To achieve the best possible selling price for the materials we are offering- Use the SAP system on a daily basis- To manage a list of customers, contact them on a daily basis & increase either revenue or tonnage through quality conversations- Effectively manage customer management plans to grow customers business with Hanson- Visit customers sites or offices face to face to build and maintain relationships- Price new work, chase work already priced and negotiate to win attractive jobs- Resolve complaints in a cost effective & timely manner- Resolve queries, problems & complaints in a professional and timely manner- Liaise with planners, allocators & plant managers to ensure work is being delivered on time without any issues & respond to the customers keeping them informed

- To proactively identify ways in which the bank can help customers to save money - To recognise how a customer’s banking service can be improved to provide a better customer journey to suit the needs of the customer, including any financial saving and lending goals- To actively listen to the customer and understand what the customer is trying to obtain, achieve or require before providing the customer with a number of options in a clear and concise manner, allowing the customer to make an informed choice to be made- Build a rapport with the customer to ensure the customer feels comfortable, respected and trusts an outstanding customer service will be provided- Ensure knowledge on products and processes is kept up to date, allowing customers to be informed of accurate information at all times- To support members of the team, including but not limited to, providing training to new members of the team, providing systems training to other colleagues
