Developed the next generation software technology. All current software languages and processor are algorithmic in nature and was invented in 1950s. The language is based on lambda calculus and processor architecture is based on Turing machine. This next generation software technology is built on new mathematics i.e PI calculus and does not have computation as it core. It is a autonomous agent network that together operates as a process. Auction Engine.Developed a general purpose pricing mechanism for internet environment. All types of auctioning were supported. Responsibility based modeling was used to design classes. Vacation Portal.This system is designed as a portal for the timeshare industry in the US. The project was done on an onsite/offshore model. SAP R3 Implementation.Was responsible for the interface from SAP/R3 to the Real time Warehouse Management System. • Interfaced SAP to homegrown automated warehouse system. I was the lead architect, designing the interface, estimating the time required and keeping the project on ambitious schedule. The project involved real time serial number checking with SAP R/3 System. Develop Conveyer based real time warehouse management system.Was responsible for the interface from SAP/R3 to the Real time Warehouse Management System. • Designed and implemented a conveyer based zone picking system in the distribution center. This resulted in a 30 percent productivity improvement in the distribution center. Other Major Projects. • Represented in a sales support position. In this position I met with the customer to understand the requirements of the asset management system. In this deal a new business process was designed and developed, where the payment was done based on assets and not on invoices. This was a mandatory requirement for the multi-million dollar contract. • Designed and implemented a FedEx Powership plus system. It rated, assigned tracking number and routed packages. • Implemented a freight calculation system. This allowed the sales representatives to quote freight online at order entry. This system computed freight for both domestic and international customers. • Designed and implemented a Quality control system at shipping time. This implementation increased the picking accuracy to 99.8 percent. This involved extensive use of bar-coding and RF scanners. • Implemented a link between current order entry system and billing system with the Vertex Sales Tax calculation system to compute sales tax.
