Have also developed a side line in arranging multi-year Structured Risk Managed products, War & Terrorism risk and Political Violence insurance business. Over the last decade I have underwritten a profitable book of lawyers’ professional indemnity insurance with an MGA, developing underwriting income managing a growing book of renewal and new business. Been in the game long enough to have a comprehensive understanding of insurance market dynamics and boom/bust life cycle winning and developing new business and growing underwriting accounts on the sell-side. Whilst back in the day as a placing broker on the buy-side I’ve negotiated and arranged complex global E&O insurance programmes for large global law firms, accountants and surveyors across international territories during soft and hard market conditions. My technical underwriting and risk pricing experience spans new business development, renewal analysis and rating strategy extending to portfolio audit and distressed risk review. Combined with a solid know-how of retail and wholesale broking functions and a thorough expertise in Lloyd's market operations.
