I am a Fellow (FRICS) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and have been a Chartered Building Surveyor since 2000.I provide businesses with technical advice on most types of commercial property and residential blocks, specialising in building surveys, dilapidations, maintenance, repairs and refurbishment advice. My variety of work and working with other consultants allows me to provide rounded and holistic advice to my clients.I have undertaken a wide range of instructions including: 🏢 building surveys for investors & occupiers ranging in size from 1,000 sq ft / 100 sq. m to 380,000 sq ft / 35,000 sq. m;💷 prepared dilapidation schedules and successfully negotiated settlements for both landlords & tenants on claims up to £2m👷♂️ administered building repairs and refurbishments with contract values of up to £2m;🏚 building defect inspections/investigations and reports;👨🔧planned preventative maintenance inspections of multi-let and single occupier office buildings and also shopping centres; and👨⚖️ acted as an expert witness on claims up to £17m.I have advised corporate clients such as Lloyd’s Bank, Shell, BP, HSBC and Vodafone, as well as investors and occupiers. Also, I have been published by the RICS internationally and contributed to the RICS NZ Guide Rebuilding Cost Assessments.
