Sales Manager
CurrentKey responsibilities:• Advanced to Sales Manager position to drive the weekly KPIs, strenghten existing customer relationships and implement a strong strategic focus on business development.• Manage 15 employees to achieve sales targets and improve efficiencies• Manage fresh produce, liquor, dry goods, frozen, poultry, confectionery and beverage purchasing, selling and promoting.• Managed stock management and sales in a store in the Adelaide Produce Market• Invoicing, processing payments, reconcilliation, payment followups and purchase orders• Strategic planning to add new products and remove products with low turnover rates• Negotiate pricing from suppliers to ensure desired profit margin from each product segment is achieved.Key achievements:Sales increased from an average of $29000 per week in June 2019 to $67000 per week in June 2020• Increased weekly sales from the store in the Adelaide Produce Markets by 25% from June 2019• Increased average monthly sales by 50% from July 2019 due to new produce ventures and a strong focus on business development• Successfull relocation of warehouse closer to the Adelaide Produce Markets • Standardised processes and procedures, i.e developed Credit Application processes, purchase order processes and training manuals• Successfull recruitment and training of 5 new staff to support increased deliveries• Drove and managed the addition of fresh produce and poultry • Grew existing customer base by 55 in the first 6 months due to a strong focus on sales
