My love of computers comes from quite an unexpected turn of events. I was in need of a high end computer for school and work, but as a college student I couldn't afford what I needed. When I discovered I could build a computer for less than buying a prebuilt one, the quest to save money turned into a life changing experience! Learning about all the parts and what they did was intriguing. I ran into so many questions during the build and thought it was hopeless, but I kept at it. When I powered it on for the first time, it was pure euphoria! I had never felt so proud of an accomplishment. It wasn't until I discovered Linux though that my life would be forever changed. By learning Linux, I became more interested in the concepts of an operating system. Learning the command line made me curious about programming. So many nights I would break my system trying new things and have to reinstall made me want to learn more. This ultimately led to me transitioning into IT!Since embarking on this path, my passion for knowledge and problem solving has grown far beyond what I ever expected. I enjoy learning new technologies, problem solving and working with the cloud, both public and private. I get excited about logistics, process improvement, creating tools to improve day-to-day operations for humans and machines, as well creating documentation. I am striving to grow as a well rounded Generalist Engineer, dividing my time between Systems Engineering and Architecture, Software Development, and Operations work. I'm happiest when working on providing a stable platform for customers to deploy their applications. I'm even happier when automating and creating tools to improve process efficiency and availability. Currently I am focusing on improving my coding skills through Python and Go as well as various other technologies that are revolutionizing the industry.Thank youAntony Natale
