Visiting Research Associate for the purpose of working on joint research publications in the area of lean management.

 Lean implementation (organisational change) research that developed new constructs for lean success and tested these with an advanced statistical analysis of 393 cases.  The research was undertaken as part of PhD degree and three journal publications are in progress.

 Analysis and critique of existing systems, processes, and philosophy; identifying the key process constraint and several attitudes inhibiting productivity and employee engagement.  ERP selection, development, implementation and customization resulting in an integrated lean system that eliminated duplication of data and improved reporting (KPIs).

A part time role for academic relationship and relief teaching was established.

 Produced designs, manufacturing details and documentation for automated production lines and their components (AutoCAD and SolidWorks).  Developed sales concepts for appliance manufacturing systems to meet customer specifications (process development, automation, tooling layouts, and power requirements).

 Self-managed AutoCAD drafting for Bitumen Plant and Asphalt Plant, Traffic Management Plans and some design work e.g. pipe routings.
