1. Improved the overall Privacy Impact Assessment Process. There was low organizational enthusiasim to use the PIA for the reason that there were too may steps to complete. I reduced the steps within the PIA and updated the PIA with more meaningful steps and used the tool Formstack to allow for online automation in completing the form.2. Improved the contract management process: Drawing the connections between the contracts team and the finance team which helps to guide our internal teams as to the appropriate steps when initiating, submitting and/ or at the end of the term with a client. I also had the responsibility to review contracts, identify risk and have issues escalated to my manager.3. Developed privacy training material to be released to the organization to share new processes. In addition to the training material I developed an FAQ shared document as a self-help tool for our internal teams.4. With the guidance from my manager inserted the Privacy Workplan into Monday.com this allowed our Board to have visibility to measure the objectives set out to be completed by the Privacy Office. The board was also able to see visibility as it relates to reoccurring activities such as incidents, information requests, and review of PIA's.5.Handling of privacy incidents, providing recommendations to the Chief Privacy Officer to assist in decision making. 6. Based on input received within the Privacy Impact Assessment, make informed decisions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and the Cybersecurity to determine acceptable risk for onboarding a new vendor. When risk is assessed to medium to high collaborate with stakeholders to determine mitigation strategy.
