LIT is a leading multinational technology group present in 25+ African, Middle East and LATAM markets. I undertook scoping, planning, market and competitor research, financial and commercial analysis, team coordination, stakeholder relationship building, document and report preparation as well as results presentation.𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀• Facilitated entry into key new markets by supporting the acquisition of a technology group at a combined value of £50M, and the acquisition of a cyber security consulting business.• Enabled the launch of the group’s West Africa business which has generated several million pounds of revenue (not publicly disclosed) to date by managing the process for the award of vital telecom licenses. • Assisted the group’s expansion in the data centre market thereby increasing revenues by helping it bid for and win a government contract.• Identified £35M of inaccurate billing allocations in two major markets.• Facilitated negotiation of contracts with three satellite network operators by analysing the perimeter of the group’s satellite regulatory rights across 32 licenses held in 12 countries.• Improved the capital debt funding structure of the group by assisting in the close of several tens of million pounds new equity funding from two international Development Finance Institutions.

LT is the South African subsidiary of LIT and the flagship opco in its portfolio It is the second largest fixed telecom network operator in the country serving many of the top corporates listed on the JSE Securities Exchange.I supported the Chief Strategy Officer by managing the corporate strategy development process, undertaking research and analysis, managing various strategic projects, managing relationships with vendors, and producing the monthly management report for exco.𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀• Helped grow the company’s revenues to multiple tens of millions pounds (not publicly disclosed) by developing the corporate-level strategy, corporate balanced scorecard and guiding the divisional executives in formulating their strategic imperatives and KPIs.• Improved the competitive positioning of the group in 10 markets by undertaking primary research involving 150 key account managers and generating 1,200+ data points.• Enhanced the execution of corporate and business unit strategy by researching best practice for the establishment of the Office of Strategy Management and mapping core, desirable and integrative roles in the context of the opco.• Generated valuable inputs for the development of the 2015 corporate strategy by coordinating the “CEO ICT Day” engagements with several industry participants including Microsoft, Oracle and Huawei.𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱: CEO Silent Hero Prize for quietly getting on with the job and making an outstanding contribution.

I supported the Head of New Business Development in the design and execution of the wholesale strategy by undertaking industry and technology research, assisting in negotiations with potential MVNOs, performing business plan analysis, modelling pricing and rebate scenarios, and managing new partnerships to launch.𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀Helped generate increased wholesale revenues (not publicly disclosed).

Standard Bank is a leading retail and investment bank. It has offices across Africa and in six international financial hubs including London and New York.I was responsible for the development and execution of the web channel strategy. I managed a team of 15 people, set clear goals, guided the establishment of targets, oversaw website design processes and usability, monitored competitor developments, resolved issues, undertook recruiting, compiled monthly channel business performance reports and prepared the budget, targets and tracked metrics.
