Currently doing PhD research on data-analytics in agriculture, combining data, statistics, machine-learning, simulation models and topological data-analysis. For background I'm an experienced full-stack software and data engineer, meaning I can design a data-centric software system from the ground up and even build a modest one myself – along with the development and deployment process that goes with it. I'm happiest when starting up new projects, exploring the solution space, designing and building prototypes -- but I also enjoy being part of building continuously improving development processes. Being an entrepreneur myself has taught me plenty about the business side of software as well.
