Design engineer on the structures sub-team of UC Davis's Hyperloop Engineering Team, OneLoop. OneLoop is a student-run engineering club set out to build the fastest pod in the world, competing in an annual hyperloop competition, most commonly SpaceX. I am redesigning the pod chassis to a miniature version that is more streamlined with stronger support than before. Devising the design of an aeroshell for superior aerodynamics and manufacturability. Modeling new designs in SolidWorks and testing them in Ansys. Conducting research on materials, mechanics, and manufacturing. Playing a large role in weekly team meetings by showcasing my models, presenting my research, and supplementing the discourse about the team's next steps in the design process.
