Environment: Linux, Role:; Database: Oracle RAC 10g,11g, 12c ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: •24 x7 on-call production support for database activities.•Adding new disks to ASM disk groups for space issues.•Configuring and maintaining of Production, Test and Development database servers.•Performing daily check like adding space to tablespace, checking alert logs for ORA-errors, successful backup completion, file system space issues etc….•Configuring & scheduling & Monitoring RMAN backups.•Performing Monitoring Database Refresh (BCV copies) from production.•Monitoring alerts and taking proactive measure for smooth functioning of databases. •Regular administration for space/capacity management, database health check user management , Database reorganization etc•Working with Ticketing tool ( Remedy) to perform work related to incidents, customer requests and environment promotion through change orders.•Generating & analyzing PT related Reports (AWR, ADDM, and ASH).
