By implementing a stage-gate methodology and risk mitigation frameworks, I ensured the successful launch of the company's first two flagship gene synthesis products. In my role as Senior Manager of Program Management at Pacific Biosciences, I led the development of cutting-edge gene sequencing platforms, driving innovation in genetic research. I spearheaded a digital transformation initiative, transitioning from MS Project to SmartSheet, which significantly improved cross-functional collaboration and team engagement. Additionally, I developed and implemented a resource management framework to optimize program allocation across the organization, ensuring efficient project delivery and portfolio management.

• Project lead and program manager for a joint collaboration project between Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Helmsley Charitable Trust (HCT) and Medtronic Diabetes. Co-drafted proposal that secured external funding of $17M.• Leading and managing cross functional teams in US and Denmark to develop a next generation continuous glucose monitoring sensor system that combines optical and electrochemical sensing technologies for closed loop application (artificial pancreas). • Successfully led team in meeting all key milestones. Presented project status to senior management and collaborators in quarterly business updates which led to continued funding.• Provided functional management oversight to ensure project met aggressive performance and time-to-market targets.
