CurrentManaging VMware vSphere environment using Virtual Center (VC). Creating, managing virtual machines and installing VM Tools into VM’s. Adding Hosts to VC, Creating and Managing VM’s under the Hosts. Configuring, managing Clusters, enabling HA and DRS cluster features. Performing clones, snapshots, cold and hot migrations. Creating templates and deploy VM’s from templates and allocate resources. Moving VM’s from one data store to another data store using storage VMotion. Installing, configuring ESX/ESXI 6.0 to 6.5 servers in VMware environment. Update VMware tools, VM hardware and ESX /ESXi Hosts Patching using update Manager. VCenter Appliance server build version update. Upgrade VCenter server from 6.0 to 6.5 VCenter appliance. Created Fault Tolerance (FT) for critical VMs to provide High availability. Provisioning and Configuring of Virtual Machines. Configuring LUNs to ESXi host data stores and extending the data store. Troubleshooting the issues through various vendor calls such as VMware, HP. Monitor the Disk Utilization, CPU Utilization and Memory Utilization on server. Managing around 75 vCenters and 6000 ESXi Hosts knowledge on the Nutanix, Cohesity Upgrading ESXi host to the latest version. Allocation of resources like Memory, CPU, storage, network adapter to VM and created new storage Upgrading Firmware, Bios on ESXi servers, Performing patch management using vSphere Update Manager/LCM Renewing SSL Certificates on VCenter Resolving CVM issues through Prism element and CLI Decommission of UCS Chassis/ Rack Server. Troubleshooting issues and fixing them by coordinating with vendors (Dell, Cisco, Intel, Cohesity, Nutanix, VMware).Working on Peer validation for new build servers before transition. Co-ordinating with different support teams to troubleshoot and resolve high priority issues as per SLA Responsible in using Service now Ticking tool for resolving incidents and change requests raised by users.
