Solo project: implemented open-source C++ based toolbox OpenFoam to model vortex airflow over delta-wing under duress, and various aerodynamic conditions, with an aim to harness vortices as a renewable energy source. Designed a new prototype for a delta-wing flow turbine, and optimized design through flow simulations. Presented my findings at Tandon’s Summer REU exposition.Skills used: worked with parallel computing in C++, CAD experience in SolidWorks and Cura, researched individually and reported findings to PI, machine design, simulation design, materials sciences
