Having seen cancer through the eyes of a caretaker, I've made it my mission to dedicate myself to cancer research. I'm in my third year of a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences and carving to consume every morsel of information in biology. I've had an entrepreneurial streak in me since childhood, handling day-to-day functioning at a family-owned local food outlet.Financial constraints led me to work at a preschool, which made me discover my potential. I've helped kids with spoken skills, language fluency, and gaining confidence. I realised my passion to help kids explore, which is why I also regularly volunteer at a neighbourhood NGO. Single-handedly doubling the admission rate at the preschool during a worldwide pandemic is one of my biggest accomplishments in marketing and management. I'm also an avid writer with a few prizes and medals on my shelf for national-level essay and poetry competitions. As my main focus is academia, I'm looking for any opportunities in biology, cancer biology specifically.
