In September 2017 it was announced that Neste Corporation has acquired Jacobs Engineering's 40% shareholding in Neste Jacobs Oy. After this transaction Neste Jacobs Oy is now 100% owned by Neste Corporation.As the result of the deal the company name Neste Jacobs Oy will change as of January 1, 2018. The new company name will be Neste Engineering Solutions Oy. The new name describes the company's high quality engineering knowhow and the way it operates as a solutions provider for customers. The names of the Neste Jacobs Oy’s subsidiaries will be changed accordingly
