As a Mapping and CAD Technician at Arbor Memorial, I create and update maps and drawings for cemetery and funeral home properties across Canada. I apply my architectural skills and knowledge to design and layout new features and structures, such as mausoleums, columbariums, and memorial gardens, that honor the memory of the deceased and provide comfort to the bereaved. I have completed multiple projects that demonstrate my creativity, attention to detail, and technical proficiency.I have a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Anna University in India, where during internship I developed and executed a public science park from the conceptual sketch to the final execution, among other projects that showcased my innovative and sustainable design solutions. I have also attended workshops from Hochschule Wismar in Germany and Faculty of Architecture and Design STU in Slovakia, where I learned about different urban and rural contexts and challenges. I have enhanced my drafting, CAD, and GIS skills through various courses and certifications, such as Introduction to GIS Environmental Management, and Accessibility and Assessment for Building. I am passionate about the power of art and architecture to strengthen our society and have a positive impact on the world.
