About Anuj Jain

Anuj divides his time doing ecological design, wildlife conservation, and biomimicry. He spends the majority of his week managing bioSEA - an ecological and biomimicry design firm based out of Singapore which he co-founded. He also consults for BirdLife International's preventing species extinctions and illegal bird trade program, runs the Biomimicry Singapore Network, teaches ecology and biomimicry design at the National University of Singapore and Taylor's University Malaysia. That's juggling many things at any time. Welcome to Anuj's world! Our projects include developing a district-scale ecological and wildlife connectivity plan for the Bukit Timah Rochor Green Corridor, Kallang-Kolam Ayer Industrial Estate, biodiversity and ecosystem service assessments at state-of-the-art green buildings and parks such as OASIA Hotel Downtown and Tanjong Pagar Park, designing hyperdiverse vertical green walls for biodiversity and developing eco-totems and nest boxes for urban use. We have also developed the first-of-its-kind biomimicry design toolkit to tackle thermal comfort for tropical building facades.
