Hi! I am Anuj Kumar Singh, currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. My research focuses on low-temperature physics in the millikelvin range, particularly exploring two-dimensional materials integrated with cavity structures.I completed my PhD from the Laboratory of Optics and Quantum Materials (LOQM) in the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B), under the guidance of Prof. Anshuman Kumar. My academic journey began at the University of Lucknow, where I developed a deep passion for photonics research, which I carried forward when I joined IIT-B in January 2019.During my PhD, I had the privilege of contributing to the transformation of LOQM, which started as a single room and evolved into one of the best quantum optical characterization laboratories in photonics and two-dimensional material growth and processing. This accomplishment was possible thanks to the collaboration and support of my colleagues, Lekshmi Eshwarmoorthy and Kishor Kumar Mandal, and the leadership of my dynamic supervisor.During PhD journey I boasts capabilities such as micro-PL, micro-Raman, micro-reflection and transmission measurements, g(2) measurements, fiber-integrated photonic chip characterization, automatic fiber tapering, and deterministic 2D material flake transfer setups.Beyond research, I have held leadership roles, including President, Vice President, and Treasurer of the Photonics Student Chapter IIT-B, sponsored by OPTICA (formerly Optical Society of America) and IEEE Photonics Society. These experiences, along with management responsibilities at the hostel level, helped me develop strong organizational and teamwork skills
