An intellectual property lawyer and a privacy law specialist, I am intrigued and fascinated by the interplay between intellectual property law, data protection and technology. Being a law and tech aficionado, I have a keen interest in disruptive technologies and its liaison with data protection and privacy law. Having graduated with an LL.M. degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law with a special focus on technology law, privacy law and intellectual property law, I am currently working in the IP, privacy and commercial law space.I am an outcome driven individual with extensive experience encompassing a myriad of IP law projects related to trademarks law, copyright law, IP due diligence, customs enforcement, anti-counterfeiting, media and entertainment, domain name disputes, assignment and licensing of IP assets. I also work extensively on varied global privacy law projects with a special focus on GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA and India’s DPDP. I assist companies with drafting of their privacy notices and internal privacy policies’, DPAs, provide advice on setting up internal privacy programmes, legal opinions on DPF and trans border flow of data and provide advice on DPIAs. Further, my commercial practice includes advising and assisting start ups in drafting of varied contracts such as SAAS Agreements, Master Services Agreements, NDAs, Channel Partnership Agreements, Partnership Referral Agreements, Business Partnership Agreements.
