EarlySpark is transforming early primary education in India's poorest communities. At EarlySpark, we fundamentally believe that we must empower children, parents and teachers and change their mindset towards education. We do this through teacher training, parent education, and classroom transformation. We piloted our program in 20 schools in 2019, and have seen sizable gains in student attendance, classroom participation, and skill acquisition. Furthermore, these schools no longer use corporal punishment in their classrooms, and students have a more positive attitude towards school.
