I am born and raised in Bhopal (Central India). I am a Chemical Engineer (Bachelors + Masters) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, India. I embarked on my professional journey in Project Management at Shell in 2015. Over the past 9+ years, I have gained valuable experience working in projects in various phases across portfolios, including Downstream, Upstream, and New Technology. I have had the opportunity to contribute to significant projects for Bukom Refinery in Singapore, the Waste to Fuel Technology Demo Plant in India, and the Oil and Gas projects in Iraq (from India). Furthermore, I have played a pivotal role in driving digital transformation of Shell's Asset and Capital projects in Singapore and Malaysia. In Technology, I have worked towards developing and scaling technologies to harness power from oceans, encompassing tidal, wave, and ocean thermal energy (OTEC) sources. Currently, I hold the position of Senior Project Engineer within the Offshore Technology Innovation Program at Shell. This exciting program focuses on developing and deploying Horizon technologies to bridge the gap to potential for Shell's offshore assets & projects across the globe and my current work is focused towards the Gulf of Mexico assets in the US.Outside work, I find immense joy in outdoor activities such as traveling, trekking, swimming, open water diving, photography, strumming ukulele, cricket, and badminton. I’m passionate about learning new things to stay current in this ever-evolving world. I also enjoy organising social events, fostering meaningful connections, mentoring the next generation and learn from them too. On the personal side, I’m happily married to Monica, who is currently working for pharmaceutical sector in marketing.
