Following company guidelines, I have thrived in a challenging environment to deliver required services through APEM procedures (Appraisal, planning, execution, and Monitoring)In my tenure I have prepared documentations for authorities like customs, immigration and port state control. Managed dry, refrigerated, and IMDG cargo for clients. I have diligently administered distress communications via GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) and upkeeping of all the navigational equipment. My responsibilities also extended to training and preparing the crew for distress situations. I have proven expertise in serving as an acting chief officer of the ship which requires designing cargo plans, weight distribution as per company regulations using EDI software. Analyzing the weather to optimize routes/fuel before hand and suggesting a better scenario for safe transit.I have looked at the shipping industry from the sailing perspective alone for over a decade. I think this is the time for me to move beyond the horizon and expand my skillsets to corporations. I have demonstrated leadership skills at high seas and I'm ready to deliver the same over shore opportunities as well.
