Software Test Engineer
- Responsible for platform testing of network switches, executing various test cases such as SKU validation, CPU path test cases, traffic/snake testing, reload and power, PoE, L1/L2/L3, performance and automated testing.
- Analyze and understand Layer 2 and Layer 3 features including Ipv4/Ipv6/NAT, routing protocols, packet forwarding and prepare the configuration to implement the above features by referring to the HW/SW function.
- Emulate the Customer environment with IXIA/Spirent and other test-tools, analyze the customer specific features, work closely with developers, and based on the gathered information prepare the test-plan with detailed.
- Hands on experience in data center labs, mounting rack switches to bring up a new platform and testing scenarios.
- Knowledge in configuring networks, networking protocols, traffic generation tools(Iperf, Ixia, Spirent), traffic monitoring protocols(IPFIX, Sflow) and Cloud Vision Platform(CVP).
