Country Lead| Road Safety Program, Tanzania, India, Thailand Program Lead| Drowning Prevention Program, Vietnam; Maternal and Reproductive Health Program, Tanzania• Developed proposals, secured funding, led a four-year maternal and reproductive health grant in Tanzania, and a five-year drowning prevention grant in Vietnam.• Developed overall strategy and annual work-plan for GHAIs road safety program in India, Thailand and Tanzania, drowning prevention program in Vietnam and maternal and reproductive health program in Tanzania. Built local teams, developed a grantee pool, provided technical assistance, fostered trust and collaboration with partners and led the teams towards program and policy outcomes.• Successfully advocated for transition of a thirteen-year donor funded maternal and reproductive health program to the Government of Tanzania. Signed MOU with the Government of Vietnam in June 2018 recognizing GHAI as a joint collaborator on national drowning prevention program.• Developed contacts with lead Ministries in Tanzania, India and Vietnam, and with local and international development partners incl. UN agencies to ensure alignment on shared goals.
