Over 12 years of experience working in client focussed roles, as an M&A adviser and a debt financier to mid-market clients; engaged with both listed companies and private businesses; worked on deals across a variety of industries including technology, financial services, IT services, manufacturing, childcare, infrastructure and agriculture. As an ‘engagement manager’ on various projects, I have managed day-to-day activities including dealing with clients, legal advisers, prospective buyers, accounting and tax advisers. I have mentored and provided guidance to junior members assisting on deals. I have typically worked in small deal teams and have been very hands-on with financial modelling, writing marketing documents, board papers and other client deliverables.I am passionate about building an in-depth understanding of my clients’ businesses, providing commercial inputs, financial insights, challenging their assumptions and brainstorming growth opportunities with them. My inquisitiveness and focus on detail have always enabled meaningful conversations with stakeholders and bidders. Over the last 2 years, I have been leading pursuits of mid-market M&A opportunities in the Queensland market and have strengthened my networks and business development skills.
