It was a wonderful learning experience at the site of the L&T project in Navi Mumbai. I gained a lot of insight regarding almost every aspect of the site and was given exposure to almost all the departments at the site. Most of the time the projects are planned & monitored from the client's side, here I got a chance to know how a project is planned and monitored with respect to the contractor side.This training was very helpful to me as I got a chance to implement my theoretical knowledge into practical use. I got a chance to study different aspects of planning, site activity, quality control, and work execution. This training helped me in developing my technical skill. This training not only provided me with hands-on technical experiences but also helped me in having practical knowledge of what I had learned in my college. This training helped me understand the need for a site engineer. I learned how to read structural and reinforcement details from a plan, and the tools, language, and techniques used by masons at the site. I also understood how a big construction firm like L&T functions. I also got exposure to teamwork. I hope these experiences will surely help me in my future and also in shaping my career.
