- Prepares concept/feasibility and detailed designs for water projects.- Prepares Tender paperwork and specifications for water treatment/supply projects and responsible for procurement related to water supply projects.- Review the comprehensive design submissions of contractors for technical compliance and completeness and award of projects based on competitive tendering process.- Leading the schemes related to WASH services under Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme (SAP)'s.- Improvement of water supply system in the city under Community Development Program (CDP).

Main Tasks:-Team lead of electrical and mechanical maintenance of pumping machinery installed to provide drinking water.-Prepared bidding documents to outsource the repair and maintenance of its installations pertaining to sewerage and storm water i.e. disposal stations, lift stations and underpasses machineries.-Prepared working paper regarding registration/approval of manufacturers /supplier of electric motors for water and sanitation services in collaboration with Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department of Pakistan.-Smart Phone Application development for the complaint management system in the Maintenance directorate.Main achievements:-Preventive maintenance strategy is being practiced now contributing towards more reliable services and better asset management. The maximum downtime of any pumping facility has been reduced from 24 hours to 4 hours.-A comprehensive technical system has been developed regarding the approval of suppliers considering international standards specified for the procurement of motors.-Complaint and maintenance system has been automated using the web based App which has benefitted the department on asset tracking, preventive maintenance, history recording, work orders and reporting etc.

Main tasks: - Team lead for energy management project in water utilities - Conducted Energy Audit of pumping stations using electrical and mechanical devices to check operational conditions and predicted the timing of pump replacement/ preventive maintenance - Preparation of Energy Audit Reports, operation and maintenance manual and completion reports of Water resources Development projects - Measured the project effect of rehabilitation/Replacement plans of pumping stations under PCGIP “Punjab Cities Governance Improvement Project” funded by World bank.- Technical Assistance to Japan International Cooperation Agency in Project for Energy saving in Water supply system in Lahore - Worked on feasibility to prevent groundwater from depletion by efficient water management - Worked on the investment plan to use surface water instead of underground water for drinking and other washing purposes - Volunteered in "Changa Pani Project" for the design and implementation of integrated water supply and sanitation for poor unserved areas and mobilize the community in WASH activities. - Capacity development workshops and trainings for the field staff.Main achievements:-Database development on groundwater availability in Lahore city-Developed a mechanism to regulate and protect underground water from depletion by utilizing a controlled installation of tube wells in active recharging zones resulting in water conservation.-Initiated and led the Energy management project, and later worked on the JICA funded project under ‘The project for Energy saving in water supply system in Lahore’ with the net effect of 37% reduction in power consumption at new water pumping facilities.

Project conducted on cost benefit of using waste wood to convert in material packing pellets and it was implemented successfully saving 5 million pkr annually.Worked on the lean improvement method and conducted ECRS of preventive maintenanceWorked on total productive maintenance and prepared MP data sheets of main machines
