Work under the supervision and guidance of the Superintending Engineer (RpCC); Station in RpCC and support engineering department concerning verification and approval of construction drawings and contractors’ work plan, site inspection, occupational and site safety and quality control, contract management. Support engineering department in supervising of all the sub-projects categorized in different projects. Review and verify the design/drawing/work method of the contractor’s works; Verify and correct the as-built drawings and identify construction problems and delays, and propose/instruct recommend actions. Make regular report to the Superintending Engineer (RpCC); Advice and support the sub assistant engineers in assisting the contractors to carry out site investigations for subproject design, With the Lab Engineer, review the existing City Corporation laboratory and on-site facilities, staffing and procedures for quality control testing, and where necessary recommend improvements Supervise/inspect the site work of the contractor and ensure it is in accordance with the drawings and specification. Responsible for Construction supervision, monitoring & quality control of all infrastructure works like roads, culverts, bridge, retaining wall drains, public toilet, overhead tank, pipe line, production tube well and sanitation system, preparation cost estimate, BOQ, preparation progress report and recommendation of bill. Responsible pre and post work survey, level survey for different road layers condition, different type of test arrangement such as FDD, MDD, CBR, water content, PI, Marshal stability test etc. Different type of soil, aggregate and bitumen test. Check laboratory test reports, and carry out sample spot checks of the conduct of testing. Advise the contractor on remedial actions where problems are identified.

Responsible for controlling that all the tests of soil & materials, mix design of concrete by ACI method in the laboratory & field site and ensuring that all testing works were carried out as per relevant specifications of AASHTO, ASTM, BS & Bangladesh standards also Preparing report. Preparing daily, weekly, monthly programmers Experience on field and Laboratory tests: • Soils: Sieve and Hydrometer Analysis, Atterberg Limit, Specific Gravity, Unconfined Compression Strength, Standard & Modified Proctor Compaction (dry density-moisture content relationship), California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Direct Shear, Sand Equivalent, Field Density, Standard Penetration Test (SPT) etc. • Aggregates: Screen Analysis and FM, Unit weight, Specific gravity, Absorption, AIV, ACV, Flakiness Index, Compaction, CBR etc. • Cement: Normal consistency, Time of setting, Compressive Strength. • Concrete: Compressive Strength of Concrete Cylinder/Cube, Trial Design of Mixes, • Bricks: Crushing Strength, Absorption, and Unit weight. • Bitumen: Penetration grade, Ductility, Flash point, Fire point, Bitumen Content Test. .
